Trefechan Wen Coastal Camping

For 2026 we will open from March 27 through October 31.

We have a maximum of 15 pitches, 5 of which are designated for campervans, motorhomes and caravans. The remainder are reserved for tented camping. Currently we do not offer Electrical Hookups. What you do get is a flat or gently sloping meadow with a spectacular south east aspect looking out to the Preseli Hills! Access is off a council maintained lane (only 200 metres or so off the main road) and through a wide set of double gates providing enough room to maneuver a good sized motorhome or a car towing an average sized caravan. Please be assured that there are no rough farm tracks to negotiate so no tense moments as you approach our site!

There is space to park next to or within each pitch in the main camping meadow. One car per pitch please. 

Please note that because of our commitment to protecting all wildlife we do not accept dogs. The sole exception is registered assistance animals. Well behaved humans only please :). In keeping with the peace and quiet of our site we discourage large groups, and sorry, no stag or hen parties please.

If you are not already a member of The Greener Camping Club the annual membership fee, currently £12 per year will be added to the total price of your booking. 

All pitches are mown grass, separated by areas of longer grasses, wildflowers, and small trees. There are 7 Tent Pitches in the main camping meadow, 5 of which measure approx. 12m x 12m with one, tree enclosed premium pitch at 15m x 15m.

Touring Pitches are all adjacent to each other on the south-west side of the site and with plenty of room (up to 10m x 20m), partly sheltered by an established hedgebank. The site is in an elevated position where the onshore sea breezes can pick up at times!

The 3 Pitches in Fox Meadow are only open and bookable from mid July to allow for bluebells to complete their growth cycle before mowing. Two of these are premium, oversized pitches (c.20m x 15m ) and (c.25m x 15m). 

Price per pitch is for a group size of up to two adults and one child on a per night basis. Maximum of 5 people per pitch (exceptions considered). Discounts for single travelers, for those arriving on foot or bicycle (and with no supporting vehicles), and for stays of 7 days or more. We are not able to discount the £12 Greener Camping membership fee. If your group has more than one tent then a 2nd pitch may need to be booked. Please get in touch for any particular needs.
